Third-stage intake and exhaust valve plate

Main functions

Controls unidirectional suction‑discharge for third‑stage cylinder. On piston down‑stroke, intake valve‑plate opens and hydrogen flows into third‑stage cylinder. In compression‑stroke intake valve closes; on piston up‑stroke exhaust‑valve plate opens and compressed high‑pressure‑hydrogen is discharged. When closed, it blocks reverse‑flow of high‑pressure hydrogen, guarantees third‑stage compression pressure and gas‑delivery‑capacity, and withstands alternating impact loads from high‑pressure hydrogen.

Structural materials

‑ Thin‑section annular geometry.

‑ For high‑pressure‑hydrogen service: high‑strength alloy with hydrogen‑embrittlement‑resistance and fatigue‑resistance; good impact‑resistance and corrosion‑resistance.

‑ Matches together with valve‑seat and springs to build complete third‑stage compressor‑valve assembly.
