Description: The third-stage gas valve gasket of a natural gas compressor is a static-sealing wear-prone part. It is installed between the third-stage cylinder gas valve and the flange mating surface of the valve cavity, and is used in high-pressure natural gas conditions to seal and isolate the gas valve assembly.
It fills the gap between the mating surfaces of the gas valve assembly, seals the third-stage high-pressure natural gas, prevents gas leakage, and avoids interstage gas crossover.
It buffers the clamping stress of gas valve assembly and compensates for machining deviations of the metal mating surfaces and thermal expansion and contraction during operation.
It protects the metal mating surfaces of the valve seat and valve cavity from erosion damage by the high-pressure gas flow.
Sheet-shaped sealing gasket, shaped to match the flange profile of the third-stage gas valve; metal composite gaskets and flexible graphite gaskets are mostly used in third-stage high-pressure conditions, being resistant to high pressure, high temperature, oil and gas; positioning holes are reserved, and the gasket is clamped at the joint between the gas valve and the valve cavity.
