Description: The third-stage exhaust valve plate of a natural gas compressor is a wear-prone moving part of the third-stage cylinder of a reciprocating compressor. It is assembled inside the third-stage exhaust valve assembly and opens and closes under the pressure differential, controlling the discharge of the high-pressure natural gas compressed in the third-stage cylinder.
When the compression stroke reaches the pressure differential, the valve plate opens to discharge the high-pressure natural gas compressed in the third-stage cylinder; when it closes, it prevents the high-pressure gas from flowing back into the cylinder and maintains the third-stage exhaust pressure.
It isolates the cylinder from the exhaust passage, preventing gas backflow and internal leakage and ensuring the compression efficiency of the third-stage cylinder and the gas delivery volume of the compressor.
It works together with the valve seat, spring, and lift limiter to complete the exhaust action and achieve the compression-exhaust cycle.
Thin sheet, annular or disc-shaped valve plate; high-strength alloy steel is selected for third-stage high-pressure natural gas conditions, being impact resistant, fatigue resistant, and resistant to oil and gas medium corrosion; the face of the valve plate is the sealing contact surface, and the opening lift is limited by the lift limiter.
