Description: The fluoroplastic pump impeller is the core rotating component of the fluoroplastic (PTFE-lined) centrifugal pump. With a metal insert over-molded in F46/PTFE fluoroplastic, it conveys highly corrosive media such as acids, alkalis, and salts, converting mechanical energy into medium pressure and kinetic energy to achieve transport.
High-speed rotation of the pump shaft generates centrifugal force that does work on the corrosive medium, generating head and flow and completing conveyance.
The fluoroplastic wetted surface resists acid/alkali corrosion, preventing the medium from attacking the impeller and ensuring chemical-medium conveyance.
Closed impellers offer high efficiency; open/semi-open impellers suit media with crystals or slight solids and have good anti-clogging ability.
Internal metal inserts transmit torque; the outer layer is integrally molded from F46 (perfluorinated ethylene propylene) and PTFE fluoroplastic alloy. Three configurations are available—closed, semi-open, and open—with an impeller lock nut to prevent loosening in operation.
