Packing Seal Ring

Stuffing Box

A single stuffing box is an independent sealing cavity unit within the stuffing box assembly; a complete stuffing seal is made up of several stuffing boxes assembled in series, installed between the cylinder and the crankcase with the piston rod passing through, and is the most critical safety sealing component of a hydrogen compressor.

Oil Scraper Ring

The oil scraper ring is installed on the outer side of the stuffing box, on the crankcase side, and hugs the reciprocating piston rod; it is a critical safety seal in a hydrogen compressor.
