Oil Separator Element - Air Compressor

Oil Separator Element - Air Compressor

Description: The oil separator element (commonly called the oil separator core) is a core component of the oil-injected screw air compressor. It separates oil mist from the compressed air, recovers the lubricating oil, and delivers compressed air with low oil content.

Functions Oil-mist coalescing and recovery: the fine oil mist in the oil–air mixture coalesces into droplets which return to the oil tank via the return line for recycling.

Oil consumption. Exhaust Oil-content Control: under normal operating conditions the residual oil in the compressed air is ≤ 3 ppm.

Shield the downstream dryer precision filter and pneumatic equipment and stop oil mist from contaminating the product.

Differential-pressure control: limits airflow resistance to reduce increased unit energy consumption.and Principle It consists of an ultra-fine glass-fiber media.

Inner and outer support screens end caps and sealing rings. The oil–air mixture passes through the glass-fiber media.

The fine oil mist is intercepted and coalesces into larger droplets which settle by gravity and flow back through the bottom return line.

Clean compressed air exits from the center of the element.
