Single-Axis U-Shaped Screw Conveyor
An auger, formally known as a screw conveyor and commonly called a screw conveyor or auger conveyor, is a type of continuous conveying machinery without flexible traction components. Its core working principle is based on Archimedes' screw principle: a motor drives a shaft fitted with helical blades to rotate inside a closed trough or pipe through a reducer, and the axial thrust of the blades pushes the material forward along the trough, achieving continuous conveying in horizontal, inclined, or vertical directions.
