Rotary joint sealing ring of drum dryer

Description: The sealing ring of the rotary joint in the confinement dryer is the core component for achieving dynamic sealing of the equipment's steam / heat transfer oil pipelines.

Functions

1. Dynamic Sealing and Leak Prevention: Under the operating conditions of a low-speed rotating tubular dryer with high-temperature media (steam/thermal oil).

It blocks the media from leaking through the gap between the rotary joint and the shaft stop heat loss and safety hazards.

Self-lubricating and Wear-resistant: Graphite has inherent lubricating properties allowing long-term wear-resistant operation without additional lubrication.

Meeting the continuous working requirements of the dryer. Compensation for Displacement Deviations: It can accommodate rotor runout.

Coaxiality deviation and thermal deformation during equipment operation maintaining the fit of the sealing surfaces.

Forms Spherical or conical sealing pairs (designed in pairs). Uses integrated ring design without cuts reduce leakage at the seams of segmented or cut rings.

For high-temperature and high-pressure conditions of steam or thermal oil.

Materials The base is graphite impregnated with resin/metal (such as antimony or copper) to enhance density and wear resistance.

Addressing the issues of pure graphite such as powdering and poor pressure resistance.
