Description: The scraper centrifuge lining screen is the rigid support layer between the screen, filter cloth, and the inner wall of the drum. It is a key component for auxiliary filtration, protection, and flow guidance.
1. Rigid Support: Provides sufficient stiffness to the inner layer of the screen mesh/filter cloth to prevent collapse, wrinkling, or sticking to the drum holes due to high-speed rotation, ensuring smooth liquid flow.
2. Flow and Liquid Discharge: The support mesh itself has large holes/gaps, forming passages for the filtrate to quickly drain out of the drum, avoiding liquid accumulation and reducing the moisture content of the filter cake.
3. Protection of Screen Mesh/Filter Cloth: Cushions the impact of materials to reduce wear and tearing of the inner screen mesh/filter cloth; prevents the inner filter cloth from being torn by scrapers or cut by the drum hole edges.
4. Smooth Fit: Ensures the screen mesh/filter cloth is evenly fitted to the drum interior without wrinkles, avoiding local material leakage, clogging, or uneven filter cake thickness.
Woven Support Mesh
Material: 304/316L stainless steel wire, PP/PE polypropylene (acid and alkali resistant).
Mesh Size: 5–10 mesh (very large holes, only for support, not for separation).
Form: Whole circular cylinder / sector pieces, rolled and attached to the inner wall of the drum, often stitched to the filter cloth for fixation.
