Vertical Needle Impact Mill Spare Parts - Rotor

Description: The rotor plate of a pin impact mill (also called the rotor disc or grinding disc) is the core rotating component on which the moving pins are installed and is directly driven by the main shaft. It works with the stator plate to form the crushing chamber and is the key carrier for achieving high-speed impact grinding.

Functions (In short: support conduction anti-breaking flow stabilization)

Power Load and Transmission Directly connected to the spindle.

Transmitting the spindle's torque and speed completely driving the needle group to rotate at high speed (linear speeds usually 100–180m/s).

Bears combined heavy loads such as centrifugal force of the moving needle, material impact reaction force, torsion, and vibration.

Material distribution and acceleration

Material enters the moving plate from the center and is quickly tossed toward the edge under centrifugal force field.

With extremely high radial velocity. Guides the material into the moving needle and fixed needleCross-cutting crushing zone.

With repeated impact shearing and grinding. Moving pin mounting reference provides precisemounting hole positions/slots.

Precise moving pin layout and uniform stator clearance (typically 0.5–2mm). ensures the moving needle is firm not loose.

Or falls off at high speeds.crushing accuracy Moving disc flatness circular runout dynamic balance accuracy determines the overall machine vibration.

Noise wear and finished product particle size stability.and Disc body: round thick steel plate/forged steel part.

Commonly φ600–1200mm diameter thickness 30–80mm. Central shaft sleeve: mates with the spindle (taper/cylindrical key connection), transmits torque and axial positioning.

Moving needle installation area:

Holes/slots with multiple concentric circles distributed (radial diagonal or plum blossom shape).

Installation methods: interference hot fitting, threaded fastening, step slots, pressure plate locking.

Materials

Alloy steels 1Cr18Ni9Ti and 2Cr13.
