Description: Discharge oriented wearing spare assembled on rotary drum filter, drum flaker and horizontal scraper centrifuges. It scrapes off filter cake and crystalline thin layers adhering to drum working surface and completes solid material discharging workflow.
1. Scrape dewatered solid filter cake / crystalline layers away from drum surface; material drops into discharge hopper under gravity.
2. Clean drum working surface to finish discharging and get ready for next production cycle.
3. Control scraper to drum clearance and prevent filter cloth / drum substrate from being scratched by cutting edge.
• Vacuum rotary drum filter: Drum rotates at low speed; solid material is vacuum adsorbed onto filter cloth surface to build filter cake. When rotating to discharge station, fixed scraper contacts drum surface and peels filter cake for continuous unloading.
• Drum flaker: Liquid feed contacts cooled drum outer wall and condenses into solid thin layer. Upon rotation to scraper station, solid flakes are scraped for discharge.
• Horizontal scraper centrifuge: Filter cake accumulates on drum inner wall. For discharging, hydraulic / pneumatic actuator extends scraper arm to shear off filter cake layer by layer. Normally a residual filter cake heel (2 5 mm protective layer) is preserved during operation; cutting edge will not make direct contact against filter screen.
