Bearing Assembly

Description: Core supporting component for ultrafine-mill grinding-head main spindle. Supports high-speed-rotating spindle, reduces rotational friction coefficient, guarantees stable high-speed operation of rotating grinding-disc and withstands combined radial and axial loads.

Structure & Materials

Precision heavy-duty rolling-bearings (combination of tapered-roller and angular-contact ball bearings), installed in matched pairs / sets. Bearing housings are manufactured from high-chromium alloy steel. Complete with lubrication system and multi-stage dust-proof sealing construction to block starch-dust ingress into bearing cavities.

• Mounting location: Inside grinding-head spindle housing, below mechanical-seal.

• Lubrication modes: Grease lubrication or thin-oil circulating lubrication.

• Protection: Multi-stage dust-proof seals combined with sealing-purge-air to prevent ultrafine-starch-dust entry into bearings.

Working Principle

When spindle drives grinding-disc at high-speed rotation, bearings support spindle assembly and convert sliding friction into rolling friction, lowering heat-generation and power consumption. Bearings absorb radial impact loads from grinding-disc rotation plus axial thrust originating from process material. They constrain spindle radial run-out and ensures stable grinding-disc clearance, suppressing equipment vibration.
