Description: Protective inner-wall wear-plate for ultrafine-mill grinding chambers. Mounted inside mill housing, it is a vulnerable wear-resistant spare-part and works in conjunction with grinding discs.
Modular bolt-on assembly fastened onto grinding-chamber inner walls. Two mainstream material solutions for food-grade modified-starch production-lines:
1. 316L stainless-steel liner with hard-alloy hard-facing: Good impact-resistance, low risk of cracking; polished surface minimises starch adhesion. Complies with GB 4806 food-contact-material requirements.
2. Alumina ceramic wear-resistant liner: Extremely high wear-resistance, almost zero metallic-ion leaching. Ideal for high-grade modified-starch products with strict iron-impurity limits. Limitation: poorer resistance against hard-object impact; raw-material iron-removal pre-treatment is required.
Liner surfaces can be smooth or feature micro-flow-guide profiling to direct airflow and powder toward classifier-wheel and reduce dead-zone powder holdup and starch gelatinisation risk.
High-velocity modified-starch powder and particles impact and scour chamber inner surfaces. Liners absorb particle impact and friction loads and protect mill housing from abrasive wear. Simultaneously they guide powder-air flow-patterns, optimise internal-chamber flow-field and reduce powder holdup and starch gelatinisation. Individual liner segments can be replaced upon wear; full mill-housing replacement is not required.
