Description: Core component of screw feeders. Provides enclosed, continuous and metered feeding for modified-starch powder. It evenly delivers raw material into ultrafine-mill grinding chamber and stabilizes mill loading as well as finished-product particle-size consistency.
Comprises screw shaft, screw flights, barrel, drive reducer and shaft-end seal. Food-grade variants use 316L stainless-steel for all wetted / material-contact surfaces; barrel inner bore is polished to minimise starch adhesion and material buildup. Variable-pitch screw design is standard: larger-pitch feed section improves material filling; reduced-pitch discharge section lightly pre-compresses powder, expels entrained air and prevents airflow back-flow and material bridging (arching). An optional arch-breaking agitator can be fitted onto the hopper to eliminate bridging issues caused by moisture-absorbent modified-starch grades.
Variable-frequency motor drives screw-assembly rotation. Screw flights push modified-starch powder falling from hopper axially along barrel bore. Feeding rate can be continuously adjusted by modifying screw rotational speed to maintain stable feed performance. Enclosed-construction prevents back-flow of negative-pressure airflow from inside the mill and avoids dust escape at feed inlet.
