Description: Key actuating component for fully automatic powder packaging machines. Cuts continuously fed heat seal film at preset bag lengths to separate finished individual packages, completing bag forming filling heat sealing cutting cycles. Directly determines cut edge neatness, dimensional accuracy and continuous operational stability of packaging equipment.
After heat sealing forms bag bodies, cutter assembly actuates. Movable blade and fixed blade shear the composite heat seal film and separate discrete finished bags. Cutting stroke is driven by servo / cam mechanism and time synchronised with film feed and heat sealing processes. Cutting length can be adjusted according to packaging specification requirements.
1. Movable blade (reciprocating knife): Performs shearing motion; typically made from high speed steel or cemented carbide.
2. Fixed blade: Stationary part, forms precise shear edge together with moving blade.
3. Knife holder & adjustment mechanism: Fine tunes blade clearance and cutting position. Excessive clearance creates ragged, torn edges; insufficient clearance accelerates blade wear and risk of chipping.
4. Drive assembly: Cam mechanism, pneumatic cylinder or servo motor drive.
5. Safety guard assembly: Physical barrier to prevent operator accidental contact with sharp cutting edges.
