Bag Sewing Machine Head

Description: Core sealing assembly for big bag packaging production lines. Mounted above the conveyor frame, it performs high speed sewing closure for woven bags, paper plastic composite bags and kraft paper bags filled with modified starch. It prevents starch dust leakage and moisture ingress. Interfaced with quantitative packaging scales and conveying equipment to deliver continuous automatic bag sewing operations.

Working Principle

A motor drives internal gear transmission; the needle and rotary hook cooperate to form a chain stitch pattern. The conveyor belt feeds starch filled bags under the presser foot. Feed dogs pull the bag mouth forward at constant speed, and the reciprocating needle pierces the bag opening for continuous sewing. When the bag tail passes out of the sewing zone, the built in cutter automatically trims the sewing thread to finish one sealed bag and waits for the next incoming bag. Fully automatic versions use photoelectric sensors for auto start / stop / thread cutting and sequence linkage with the full packaging line.

Main Structure

1. Machine head housing: High strength alloy housing containing internal gear drive mechanism.

2. Sewing assembly: Needle, rotary hook, presser foot and feed dogs for stitch formation.

3. Thread cutting mechanism: Built in motor driven cutter for automatic thread trimming upon completion of sewing.

4. Thread threading & tension adjustment assembly: Adjusts sewing thread tension to avoid skipped stitches and thread breakage.

5. Lubrication system: Oil cup lubrication supporting high speed continuous run operation.

6. Mounting base: Fastens onto conveyor frame; height and position are fine adjustable.
