The pneumatic amplifier is the core pneumatic power component of the mechanical valve positioner. It receives the weak pilot air pressure signal output from the nozzle baffle, amplifies the air source pressure, and outputs a large flow of compressed air to drive the pneumatic actuator, thereby enabling rapid valve opening, closing and regulation.
