Description: The gas valve is the most critical susceptible component of a reciprocating piston hydrogen compressor. It is an automatic opening and closing valve, with no external drive, completely relying on the pressure difference inside and outside the cylinder to operate automatically.
1. Control the one-way flow of hydrogen, strictly ensuring the intake and exhaust sequence, and prevent gas backflow;
2. Cooperate with the reciprocating movement of the piston to complete the intake, compression, and exhaust cycle;
3. Seal the cylinder chamber, ensure compression pressure, reduce leakage, and improve compression efficiency;
4. Isolate high and low-pressure chambers to prevent high-pressure hydrogen from flowing back into low-pressure pipelines, ensuring the safe operation of the unit;
5. Directly affect the compressor’s discharge volume, power consumption, temperature rise, and overall lifespan.
Structural components: valve seat, valve plate, spring, lift limiter.
The main material of the valve plate (core) is 30CrMnSiA, a high-strength stainless steel.
