Description: The filter plates of a plate and frame filter press are core components that bear the filter cloth, form the filter chamber, channel the filtrate, and withstand high pressure, working together with the filter cloth and filter frame to complete solid-liquid separation.
1. Supporting Filter Cloth: The surface's uneven texture supports the filter cloth, preventing adhesion and blockage, ensuring smooth filtrate channels.
2. Guiding Filtrate: Surface grooves direct the filtrate towards the outlet, reducing flow resistance.
3. Sealing and Withstanding Pressure: The edge sealing surface fits with the filter frame/filter cloth, forming a sealed filter chamber that withstands a working pressure of 0.4–2.0 MPa.
4. Forming Filter Chamber: Alternately arranged with the filter frame, forming the filter cake molding space.
Usually square or rectangular, with the surface covered with prismatic and striped protrusions (height 2–5 mm), evenly distributed to support the filter cloth and filter cake. The edges have 1–2 sealing grooves, with rubber pads embedded to prevent leakage.
