Description: Anti‑corrosion spare part for corn steeping tanks, inner protective cladding for carbon‑steel tank shells, a critical anti‑corrosion component for the starch steeping section.
The lining is a replaceable sacrificial anti‑corrosion and wear‑resistant spare part, bonded onto the inner wall (cylinder + conical bottom) of carbon‑steel tanks. It isolates steel plates from corrosive acidic steep liquor and withstands impact from falling corn kernels plus scouring by circulating liquid. It prevents iron‑ion leaching which would contaminate corn steep liquor and starch products.
1. Cylinder‑section lining area: Straight shell section of the tank. Subject mainly to corrosion with mild abrasion, supplied in standard thickness.
2. Conical‑bottom lining area (critical wear zone): Suffers the severest impact from falling corn kernels and scouring by circulating process liquid. Reinforced with increased thickness in all lining designs; this is the first section to wear out and require replacement across the whole tank. Covers the full conical surface of the hopper and the base of the tank bottom discharge nozzle.
3. Lining sub‑spares for openings & attachments
‑ Manhole lining (large maintenance access port on tank side shell)
‑ Lining for all process nozzles: feed inlet, steep‑liquor circulation port, steam port, level gauge port, corn‑steep‑liquor outlet
‑ Local reinforced lining for internal tank supports and sieve‑plate support bases
4. Repair auxiliary spares: Repair rubber sheet / repair resin, sealing rubber strips.
