I.Working Principle

Under the pressure of 0.5 MPa, the starch slurry flows along the tangent direction of the sand separator and enters the cylindrical part. It rotates to generate centrifugal force. Due to the different densities of the materials, the heavy-phase impurities such as sand are thrown to the periphery and are introduced into the second-stage safety sand separator along the inner wall of the sand separator. The starch slurry with a small amount of sand overflows from the overflow port and returns to the first-stage premixing tank. Then it enters the first-stage sand separation cyclone for sand removal. The large amount of sand enters the sand collection bin for regular discharge. The starch slurry after the first-stage sand separation then overflows from the upper overflow pipe of the bin into the next process.
