5. Working principleThe motor drives the agitator shaft and impeller blades for low-speed rotation via the reducer.

Generating both axial and radial flow of steep liquor inside the tank. Corn kernels stay evenly suspended and agitated to reduce sedimentation at tank bottom.

Sulfurous acid liquor makes sufficient contact with corn kernels to accelerate water absorption swelling and protein dissociation.

Agitation minimizes vertical temperature and concentration gradients for stable steeping operation. For large steeping tanks, tank-bottom bearings are fitted to reduce long-shaft deflection, vibration and bearing loads.has.

Low-speed agitation minimizes corn kernel breakage. Optimized impeller geometry delivers large mixing coverage.
