Shock Absorbing Spring

Description: The damping spring is a fundamental supporting component of the corn linear vibrating screen, installed between the screen box base and the frame. When the vibrating screen is in operation, the vibration motor continuously generates excitation force, and the damping spring provides buffering and vibration isolation, blocking the transmission of vibration to the equipment base and the factory floor. It reduces equipment noise and fatigue damage to the frame and anchor bolts, ensuring stable operation of continuous corn screening and impurity removal.

Principle The elastic deformation of the spring absorbs the reciprocating vibration energy of the screen box to vibration isolation and buffering.

On the one hand, it allows the screen box to vibrate freely to complete the grading and impurity removal of corn materials.

On the other hand it isolates the vibration transmitted to the foundation stop resonance equipment displacement and loosening of anchor bolts.

Material Classification

1. Steel Helical Damping Spring (Most Type).

Material: 65Mn spring steel, with a painted or galvanized anti-rust surface. High load-bearing capacity stable rigidity and high temperature resistance.

For continuous production of large-scale corn cleaning screens. Linear vibrating screens in starch plants, feed mills and large-scale corn deep processing production lines.

Rubber Damping Spring (Rubber Shock Absorber) Material: Natural rubber Excellent noise reduction multi-directional damping and corrosion resistance.

Drawbacks: Prone to aging in long-term high-temperature and dusty environments; Small and medium-sized corn purchasing and cleaning screens and low-amplitude grain screening equipment.

Composite Rubber Spring The rubber is embedded with a metal frame which improves the load-bearing capacity while providing both damping and noise reduction.

It is used in grain processing equipment for export.and Usage 1. Symmetrical arrangement: A linear screen is generally with 4 or 6 damping springs.

Providing balanced support at the four corners; 2. Selection and matching: The spring stiffness is selected according to the screen box dead weight.

Material load and excitation force to stop resonance; 3. Installation requirements: Spring seats are provided at the upper and lower ends to ensure that the spring is loaded vertically.

Skewed compression is prohibited; 4. Regular inspection: In case of cracking permanent deformation or skewing the spring must be replaced in time to reduce unbalanced stress on the screen body and deviation of the screening.
