Dextrin Drying Tower Nozzle

Dextrin Drying Tower Nozzle

Description: Core component for drying feed in dextrin production lines

Nozzle body + vortex core (vortex vane) + wear-resistant nozzle insert, sealing O-ring; the liquid material enters the vortex chamber under high pressure and rotates.

And is sprayed out from the small hole to form a hollow-cone spray.

Working pressure: 8–18MPa; corn starch milk commonly uses 10–14MPa.

Orifice size: 0–2.0mm; larger orifice size is selected for high production volume, and the pressure is adjusted accordingly.

Atomization angle: 60° to 90° (match according to tower diameter; too large an angle may cause the spray to stick to the tower wall).

Material: Main body 316L stainless steel; nozzle inserts preferably made of zirconia ceramic/hard alloy (tungsten steel).

Corn starch milk contains tiny solid particles, and ordinary stainless steel wears down quickly, enlarging the aperture.

Simple structure low cost multiple nozzles can be connected in parallel narrow particle size distribution for large-scale corn starch milk drying.

Drawbacks: Small orifice diameter, extremely prone to clogging; high requirements for feed filtration; long-term erosion and wear of the bushing leads to larger orifice diameter and deterioration of atomization.

Spray drying of ordinary corn starch milk (starch solids content 30–42 %).
