Description: The oil separator element is installed inside the oil-gas tank of the oil-injected screw air compressor and is a key, upstream, easily worn component in the PSA nitrogen generation system.
1. Oil-gas condensation and separation: The oil-gas mixture after initial settling in the oil-gas tank is further processed to capture submicron oil mist particles and condense them into liquid oil droplets; the lubricating oil is collected and flows back to the air compressor main unit through the return oil pipe for recycling, reducing oil consumption.
2. Air source protection: Control the residual oil content of compressed air to ≤3ppm to protect the downstream refrigerated dryer and precision filter, and prevent lubricating oil from entering the nitrogen adsorption tower and contaminating the carbon molecular sieve.
3. Controlling pressure difference: Maintaining low flow resistance, avoiding insufficient inlet pressure, and ensuring stable nitrogen generator output.
4. Sealing and short-circuit prevention: The upper sealing gasket is pressed tightly to prevent the oil-gas mixture from directly entering the outlet side without filtration, which could cause oil leakage.
The oil separator element is a cylindrical condensation filter element, which is divided into an internal flange top-mounted type and an external screw-in type. Large and medium-sized air compressors used in nitrogen generation generally adopt the flange top-mounted oil separator element, which is installed from the top of the oil and gas tank, making disassembly and maintenance convenient.
The filter element has a multi-layer composite structure from the outside to the inside: outer protective mesh, coarse separation pre-filtration layer, fine condensation layer (core), central support frame, upper and lower end caps, and oil collection-return space.
1. Fine condensation filter layer: borosilicate ultrafine glass fiber
2. Internal and external support netting and frame: galvanized steel sheet for general working conditions.
3. End cap: Cold-rolled steel sheet stamping, surface anti-corrosion spray coating.
4. Sealing gasket: NBR nitrile rubber, oil-resistant, temperature resistant from -20 to 120℃
5. Adhesive: Oil-resistant and high-temperature resistant epoxy resin to prevent delamination and cracking caused by high-temperature oil and gas immersion.
