Description: The top-suspended centrifuge sealing ring is a static sealing wear part, mainly at the housing door cover, discharge port, manhole, and flanges, with some as auxiliary seals at the main shaft. It seals the centrifuge chamber, prevents mother-liquor leakage and air ingress, and ensures closed production, vacuum, and explosion-proof operation in sugar processing.
Fill gaps between door cover and flange joints to prevent material and mother liquor from leaking out.
Keep the chamber sealed: under vacuum, block outside air to maintain separation conditions; under nitrogen blanket, prevent gas escape.
Absorb vibration, compensate thermal expansion and contraction, isolate the medium, and protect the equipment flange face.
Mostly O-rings or rectangular-section sealing rings; in sugar and sorbitol crystallization duties fluoroelastomer (FKM) is commonly used to meet food-grade corrosion resistance and sugar-crystal resistance; silicone rubber may be used in ordinary duties. Fitted in the equipment seal groove.
