Crystallizer Rotary Joint - Metal Inlet/Outlet Hoses

Description: The rotary-joint hose (metal bellows hose) is a flexible connection between the crystallizer rotary joint and the fixed piping. It carries cooling water and heat-transfer medium in and out, removes the pulling forces that rigid piping imposes on the rotary joint, and ensures long-term rotary-joint operation.

Main Functions

Flexible compensation: offsets installation error, equipment vibration, and thermal-expansion displacement; removes the tension, torque, and side loads that piping applies to the rotary joint, protecting its internal seals and bearings.

Medium conveyance: transports cooling/heating medium to complete heat-exchange-media circulation in the crystallizer drum.

Vibration damping and buffering: absorbs pressure pulsation and equipment vibration, stopping vibration from transferring directly to the rotary joint and reducing seal wear and leakage.

Structural Materials

It consists of an inner corrugated tube, an outer stainless-steel wire braid, and flanged/threaded connectors at both ends; crystallizer duty commonly uses 316L stainless-steel metal hose, suited to the temperature/pressure and meeting food-process corrosion-resistance requirements.
