Description: Reciprocating high-pressure-pump piston-assembly wear part. Installed inside piston grooves and reciprocates within the cylinder liner together with the piston.
Provides radial piston support, physically separates piston and cylinder-liner bore surfaces and eliminates metal-to-metal dry-friction scuffing of the liner inner wall. Maintains piston coaxiality and reduces piston radial deflection, mitigates uneven wear of piston rings and carries radial loads. It performs no fluid-sealing function. Improves piston stress distribution, lowers impact vibration and guarantees stable reciprocating motion.
Filled PTFE or Ultra-High-Molecular-Weight Polyethylene (UHMW-PE) self-lubricating engineering plastic. Split open-style profile with clearance reserved for thermal expansion; single or multiple rings fitted within piston guide grooves subject to service conditions.
