Description: Internal pump-head wear part, classified as inlet check valve and outlet check valve. Opens and closes by pressure differential to enforce unidirectional media flow and guarantee directional material delivery.
When diaphragm retracts to create negative pressure: inlet check valve opens, outlet check valve closes and draws in process media. Upon diaphragm forward pressurization: outlet check valve opens, inlet check valve closes for media discharge. Prevents media reverse flow, stabilizes metering accuracy and protects pump-head components against reverse-pressure damage.
Valve ball and valve seat options: ceramic, 316L stainless steel, PTFE. Seals: FKM or EPDM. Assembly consists of valve seat, valve ball, valve sleeve and sealing gaskets.
