Metering Pump Diaphragm - Sugar

Description: Core wear part of metering pumps. Separates pump-head hydraulic chamber and media chamber, critical component enabling accurate volumetric dosing.

Main Functions

Isolates pumped process media from hydraulic drive oil, avoiding hydraulic-system contamination. Reciprocating flexural deflection of the diaphragm varies media-chamber volume to complete suction and discharge cycles for precise metered chemical dosing. Blocks hazardous or corrosive-media leakage and prevents hydraulic oil from mixing into the process stream.

Structural Form & General Materials

Material selection based on process media: PTFE or composite-PTFE, EPDM or NBR rubber. Thin-film diaphragm geometry; outer perimeter features clamping flange sealing lip, clamped and sealed in-between pump-head inlet and outlet valve assemblies.
