Vacuum Pump Cavitation Protection Components - Sorbitol

Description: Matching protective assembly for liquid-ring vacuum pumps, consisting of anti-cavitation pipe, check valve, nozzle and buffer pipeline, connected between pump exhaust side and suction inlet.

Main Functions

Under extreme-vacuum operating points, chamber pressure may drop below medium saturation pressure and trigger cavitation. This assembly injects a small volume of high-pressure gas to raise minimum chamber pressure, suppress bubble generation and collapse and mitigate cavitation-induced impact erosion. Reduces cavitation-originated vibration and noise; protects impeller and pump body against cavitation erosion and extends equipment service life.

Structural Form & General Materials

Piping and valve bodies: cast iron for general-purpose; stainless steel for corrosive media. Seals: FKM fluoroelastomer. Integrates check valve for unidirectional gas supply and prevents process-media reverse flow.
