Description: Rotary-shaft dynamic-seal wear part. Installed at worm-gear reducer output-shaft end for dynamic sealing between rotating output shaft and gear-reducer housing.
Seals clearance of rotating output shaft and prevents lubricant leakage out of gear housing. Blocks ingress of external dust, moisture and contaminants into reducer cavity. Protects internal worm gear, worm and bearings; maintains proper internal lubrication and avoids accelerated wear.
Built-in metal insert provides structural support; rubber sealing lip fitted with self-energizing garter spring. Fluoroelastomer (FKM) for chemical-process environments; nitrile-butadiene rubber (NBR) for general-purpose conditions. Spring force holds the sealing lip tightly against the shaft surface to form a dynamic seal.
