The averaging pitot-tube flowmeter is a new-type flowmeter developed based on pitot-tube velocity-measurement principle. It forms a flow-measurement system together with differential-pressure transmitters and intelligent flow totalisers. It can be integrated into control systems to measure pipeline fluid differential-pressure, instantaneous flow-rate and pressure signals.
