Multi layer interleaved winding structure of metallic strip plus soft filler. Upon bolt compression, metallic layers deliver spring back resilience and soft filler material fills micro gaps to form reliable sealing for channel heads, tube sheets and nozzle flange mating faces. Characterised by high temperature pressure resistance, good elastic recovery and tolerance to operational temperature pressure fluctuations.
Circular gasket wound alternately from V profile / W profile metallic strip and soft filler material.
Metallic winding strip: 304, 316L stainless steel Soft filler materials: Flexible graphite (high temperature grade), PTFE (strong corrosion resistance grade), non asbestos fibre.
