Evenly sprays circulating hot water over cooling tower fill, breaking water into fine droplets and thin water films to maximize water air contact area. Eliminates maldistribution and dry fill zones, preserves heat exchange efficiency and prevents local high temperature scaling on fill material.

Structural Form

1. Rotary Water Distributor (Primary for round cooling towers): Assembly including main distribution pipe, multiple branch arms, spray nozzles, bearing set and water inlet connector. Inlet water pressure spins the piping assembly for full 360 degree rotating spray coverage.

2. Fixed Pipe Type Water Distributor: Mostly applied for square cooling towers.

3. Trough Type Gravity Feed Distributor: Gravity driven distribution, typical for large capacity cooling towers.

Commonly Used Materials

Main grade: ABS engineering plastic – lightweight, corrosion resistant and cost effective for rotary distributors in medium small cooling towers. Older generation cooling towers adopt aluminum alloy.
