Description: Complete sealing kit mounted on the extended drive end shaft of screw compressors, sealing clearance between rotating shaft and housing; composed of mechanical shaft seal, O rings and gaskets.
1. Mechanical Shaft Seal (Primary Seal): Prevents outward leakage of high pressure refrigeration oil refrigerant mixture along the rotating shaft, while stopping ingress of ambient air and moisture into the unit. As the core dynamic sealing component, it withstands friction from high speed shaft rotation.
2. O rings (Auxiliary Static Seal): Installed on mating surfaces such as stationary ring seats and shaft sleeves of the mechanical seal for static sealing, stopping refrigerant and oil leakage through assembly gaps.
3. Gaskets (Flat Face Seal): Applied to mating flanges of shaft seal end covers, bearing housings and compressor casings. They fill flat joints and block leakage paths for oil and refrigerant.
Mechanical shaft seal (rotary type mechanical seal): A dynamic seal assembly consisting of rotating ring subassembly and stationary ring subassembly.
