Description: The filter cloth is the filtration medium in the plate and frame filter press that directly achieves solid-liquid separation, equivalent to a 'filter screen,' determining the filtration speed, clarity of the filtrate, and the ease of filter cake removal.
Intercept solid particles, preventing solids from passing through with the filtrate, allowing liquids to pass through smoothly, ensuring water output and filtration efficiency. Forms a filter cake layer; the later the filtration, the higher the filtration precision. Facilitates discharge, with the filter cake not sticking to the cloth or breaking.
Dense surface, uniform pores, moderate breathability. There are three structures: continuous filament, staple fiber, and monofilament.
1. Polyester (PET / Polyester)
Acid-resistant, wear-resistant, high strength
Temperature ≤130°C
Most commonly used, suitable for wastewater, chemical, and mining applications
2. Polypropylene (PP / Polypropylene)
Acid and alkali resistant, hydrolysis resistant, relatively light
Temperature ≤90°C
Suitable for alkaline materials, food, and sludge
3. Nylon (PA / Nylon)
Excellent wear resistance, strong toughness
Alkali-resistant, acid-sensitive
Suitable for high-wear materials and coarse particles
