Compressed Air Hose

Description: Flexible pipeline element within pneumatic‑systems for conveying pressurized compressed‑air. Interconnects air compressors, air‑source‑treatment assemblies, valves and pneumatic equipment / actuators. Fundamental component of pneumatic circuits for dust‑removal, chemical‑processing and general production‑lines.

Structural composition

1. Inner tube: Directly contacts compressed‑air; smooth bore, good gas‑tightness; selected grades offer oil‑resistance.

2. Reinforcement layer: Fiber‑braided / yarn‑wound reinforcement; high‑pressure grades integrate steel‑wire reinforcement for burst‑pressure resistance, preventing hose ballooning and rupture, defines pressure‑rating.

3. Outer cover sheath: Wear‑resistant, anti‑aging, UV‑resistant; shields inner layers from external abrasion, impact and environmental corrosion.

4. End‑fittings: Quick‑connect couplings, barbed hose‑fittings, threaded adapters for fast assembly‑disassembly.

Mainstream materials and characteristics

1. PU Polyurethane Hose: Superior flexibility, kink‑resistance, wear‑resistance; the most‑widely‑selected grade. Working pressure 0.6‑1.0 MPa; suited for dust‑removal equipment, pulse‑jet‑valve circuits and portable pneumatic tools.

2. PVC Braided Hose: Cost‑effective, light‑weight, moderate temperature‑resistance; mostly deployed for light‑duty general‑workshop air‑supply.

3. Rubber Hose: Broad operating‑temperature span, anti‑aging performance; for heavy‑duty, outdoor and oil‑mist‑laden compressed‑air environments.

4. Nylon Flexible Hose: High mechanical‑strength, chemical‑corrosion‑resistant, relatively rigid; for fixed internal equipment‑wiring layouts..

Main technical parameters

‑ Nominal inner‑diameter: Common sizes Φ6, Φ8, Φ10, Φ12, Φ16 mm

‑ Working pressure: Standard 0.6‑1.6 MPa; burst‑pressure ≥ 3 × nominal working‑pressure

‑ Operating temperature: ‑20 ℃ ~ +70 ℃ (rubber‑grade tolerates higher temperature)

‑ Performance indices: Pressure‑resistance, gas‑tightness, minimum bending‑radius, wear‑resistance, anti‑aging property.

Application scenarios

‑ Dust‑removal‑equipment: Air‑supply for pulse‑jet controllers & pulse‑jet valves.

‑ Workshop‑pneumatics: Cylinders, pneumatic actuators, pneumatic hand‑tools.

‑ Grain‑chemical deep‑processing production‑lines and automated‑machinery.

‑ Air‑supply for repair‑shops, spray‑painting‑equipment and construction‑machinery.
